Greetings MMBC Family and Website Visitors,
Welcome to 2025! I hope the New Year finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. I can hardly believe last week was was Monday, February 17th, President’s Day. To say that the weeks are quickly passing is an understatement. Some of us have experienced great joy, peace, and serenity during these seven weeks; for others, it has brought much pain, resentment, and devastation. Rather it is due to the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, inclement weather conditions, or even a geographical change; it is important that we move forward. I encourage you to allow the Lord to comfort you with His loving presence. My sisters and brothers in the faith, we must remember to keep Jesus at the center and cord of our lives. We can face anything and everything on this side of Heaven. God said in His Word, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13: 5b
Our Church theme is “Keep Jesus Alive in 2025!” You might ask, how do I constantly keep Him Alive? The most straightforward answer is simply keeping your mind on Jesus! It is a matter of choice. We must keep Him in our hearts, minds, souls, and bodies—our total being! 1 Peter 2:5 reads, “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” God wants each and every one of us to lift up praises to Him via our spiritual temples. We were created to worship the Lord in spirit and truth. Let us Keep Jesus Alive in 2025 by lifting our voices with Hallelujah Praise to our Reigning King Jesus.
