Happy New Year!

Greetings, Macedonia Church Family and viewers of our website!

As we stand on the threshold of a brand-new year, I am elated to say, Thank you Jesus for your divine protection, love, grace and mercy. “If it is the Lord’s will,” as my mom would say, tomorrow we will see a brand-new year. Happy Pre-New Year’s Day! 

As I look back in retrospect of 2023, I can honestly say, many things occurred. From former president Donald Trump facing several criminal charges, NFL player Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills who collapsed after suffering from a cardiac arrest, the chaos with the Speaker of the House, and to the war between Israel and Hamas.  Yes, all these things happened in 2023, yet we know that our God is still in control. And Isaiah 26:3-4 reminds us of the following verses: 3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.  4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal. 

Chaos might surround us, but our God said that if we keep our minds on Him, He shall keep us in Perfect Peace.  I desire to have the Peace of God in my life.  I encourage you to Trust in the Lord, not only today, but for all of your tomorrows.  As we enter this new season in our lives, let us remember that our God is Alive and Well.  It is a blessed assurance that we have in Jesus the Christ our Solid Rock. We must continue to place our trust in the Master's hands and know that he has not brought us thus far to leave us!  Let us stay connected to the vine for truly we are the branches and King Jesus is our Vine, John 15:5!
